Running the monitor cables

NOTE
In the procedure described below for running the cables, the
disinfection tank must only be disassembled for mounting
positions 2 and 3 (cf. diagram on 5). The disinfection tank
does not need to be disassembled for mounting positions 1
and 4. In this case, the cables are run in front of the tank.
ATTENTION
Cables may break! Do not sharply bend or kink XGA cable
L35 or S-video cable L7 !
For mounting positions 2 and 3 only
1. Remove the screw J and take out the cover and the re-
filling funnel.
2. Remove the disinfection tank (for DENTOSEPT):
- Loosen the rubber hose on the tank
- Set the disinfection tank down
- Separate the suction hose from suction valve MV33.

3. Place the cables in the water unit and run them along
the side of the rinsing tank through the cable tie.
Only for mounting positions 1 and 4 only:
4. Run the cables on the left side of the disinfection tank to
the connection flange of the water unit.
For all mounting positions:
5. Run cables L7, L35 and L40 and the protective ground
wire through the cable tie up to the connection box.
6. Reinstall the disinfectant tank (for installation in Pos. 2
or 3) and suction hose.
