Note: The engine might, due to its few rotating masses, switch by its own to reverse mode.
In this case a warning signal sounds and the red LED lights up. Press the push-
button for activation of the reverse mode again to return to forward mode.
Attention: At reverse mode the vehicle behaviour is different, therefore drive backwards only at
walking speed.
Attention: At reverse mode never set the ON/OFF switch to position „START". This
might cause serious damage to the starting device.
To get back to forward mode, activate the switch for reverse mode again under the same condition
(at idle speed and at standstill of vehicle). Then the engine will change to forward mode. The LED
extinguishes and the warning tone stops.

3.6. Safe driving

Warning: When driving the vehicle, always use suitable protective clothing (helmet, overall,
gloves, shoes, neck and rib protectors, etc...).
Warning: Do not touch the engine, the radiator and the exhaust system during and after
driving – risk of burning yourself.
Warning: When driving, no parts of body or clothing must contact moving parts of the vehicle
(rear axle and wheels) – risk of injury.
Warning: Check all fast wearing parts (tires, bearings, etc....) before every drive according to
the instructions (see mantainance chart) for perfect condition.
Warning: Adhere to the running-in procedure for the engine.
Warning: Run the engine only within its operating limits.
Warning: Never drive until the fuel tank is completely empty.
