4.8.2. Throttle pedal
The throttle pedal can be adapted to the ergonomical needs of the driver.
C) Adjustment at full throttle position
Adjust the pedal to your optimum position at full throttle.
Tighten the front stop (pos.2).
Adjust the throttle cable (pos.3) according to your needs.
D) Adjustment at idle position
Adjust the pedal to the position at idling.
Tighten the stop (pos.1).
Adjust the throttle cable according to your needs.
After adjustment of the stops adjust the length of the
throttle cable and tighten it with a cable clamp (pos.4).
Note: Make sure that the throttle Bowden cable at
pedal position idle has some play. Otherwise
there may be problems at starting as the
carburetor piston is not at idle position or
engine might start and the vehicle drives off
unintentionally
For the fine adjustment please use adjustment screw (pos.10)
with nut (pos.9) at carburetor cover.

4.9. Seat

The ROTAX Kart RM1 has been developed with a seat type TILLETT T8 1/4. It is recommended
not to exchange the seat for another brand.
If it should be necessary to exchange the seat installed against another one of a different type
proceed as follows:
All parts necessary for replacement (except the seat) are supplied with the vehicle.
