By turning the wheel (pos. 15) clockwise the opening r.p.m. of the exhaust valve is pushed
towards lower r.p.m.
By turning the wheel (pos. 15) counter-clockwise the opening r.p.m. of the exhaust valve is
pushed towards higher r.p.m.
Note: By turning the adjustment wheel the opening r.p.m. can be modified only slightly
(approx. +/- 250 1/min). Due to the basic adjustment of the exhaust valve made at
the factory this range is fully sufficient.
Note: The opening of the exhaust valve can be clearly heard. By the higher exhaust valve
timing the exhaust system sounds higher in tone.
Note: The exhaust valve should open during driving operation at 7.500 r.p.m.
Attention: The correct adjustment of the opening timing of the exhaust valve has to be
determined during driving operation.
Attention: The adjustment wheel must never be actuated during driving.
