Display when ignition is switched on:
Battery voltage [ U ]
"LO BA" (means LOw BAttery) is displayed as soon as the battery voltage is below
(this function is available on all vehicles as of model 2003)
Operating hour of the vehicle [ h ]
Note: The display of battery voltage and operating hours is alternating.
Note: When "LO BA" is displayed, the engine may have problems to start. The battery has
to be re-charged immediately.
Note: If "LO BA" is indicated during the starting procedure, this is not a sign for a bad
charging status of the battery. Due to the load on the battery at the starting
procedure there is a voltage drop below 12.4 V. If however the indication "LO BA"
still appears after longer standstill (approx. 10 – 15 minutes) of the vehicle, this is a
sign of bad charging status of the battery.
Display after engine start:
Below 5.000 r.p.m only the operating temperature is on display.
Coolant temperature lower than 35° C / 95° F):
Insufficient coolant temperature, on display "COLD"
Engine r.p.m.
Note:
Attention: As long as "COLD" is on display, the engine has not reached it´s

The display of "COLD" and engine r.p.m. is alternating
optimum operating temperature and the engine must not be operated
over 8.000 r.p.m. Not respecting this instruction can lead to engine
damage.
