INTRODUCTION
Welcome on board the ROTAX Kart RM1
We are pleased and thank you to have decided for the ROTAX Kart RM1.
This manual is issued to allow you to get familiar with all details of the ROTAX Kart RM1 and to use it
in the most professional way.
Whether experienced Kart pilot or beginner, please, take your time to read this Owner's Manual.
This Owner's Manual contains information, advice and hints necessary for the use of the vehicle and
will help you to use the whole technical potential of your ROTAX Kart RM1 .
The ROTAX Kart RM1 was exclusively designed for use on specific Kart tracks. This product
incorporates many innovations that were applied for patent.
ROTAX recommends to each driver to participate in a Kart drivers training to get familiar with the
vehicle. This will allow you to operate the vehicle safely.
Please, keep this manual and hand it over to the new owner in case of sale.
Warning: Before the first operation of the vehicle read the Owner's Manual for full understanding
and adhere to the instructions.
Warning: This product is more powerful than similar ones.
Warning: Every user is responsible for his own and other's safety. Please, follow the safety
instructions and operate the vehicle accordingly.
Warning: All work not described in this Manual has to be carried out by an authorized ROTAX
Service Center.
Please, read and follow all warning hints before taking the vehicle into operation.
Warning: Not respecting the warning hints or incompetent use of the Kart may lead to serious
injuries or even death!
Never use the vehicle:
without instruction or training
at speeds exceeding your abilities or physical condition
on public streets or parking spaces
without proven safety equipment (helmet, racing suit, Kart gloves and shoes)
Warning: Keep any part of your body or loose clothing away from rotating vehicle parts
(including rear axle).
