Zur Befestigung des Patiententrackers # am
Patienten beachten Sie bitte die Gebrauchs­
anweisung (97000113) für das wiederverwendbare
Kopfband 40 8000 84 (nicht erhältlich in den USA).

Warnung: Entnehmen Sie das Kopfband
der sterilen Verpackung. Stellen Sie sicher,
dass die Einzelteile nicht verunreinigt sind
(z. B. weil sie zu Boden gefallen sind).
Verunreinigte Teile dürfen nicht weiter zur
Behandlung verwendet werden.

Warnung: Verletzungsgefahr für
den Patienten: Die Halterung für den
Patiententracker muss vorab auf einer

nicht verletzten Hautstelle des Patienten auf
mögliche allergische Reaktionen getestet
werden. Bei allergischen Reaktionen darf
die Halterung nicht verwendet werden.
Die Befestigung des Kopfbandes am Patienten
umfasst folgende Schritte:
1. Das Kopfband wie in Abb. 1 und 2 gezeigt an
der Halterung des Patiententrackers befestigen.
2. Das Kopfband so am Patienten anlegen, dass
der Schriftzug „NOSE" in Richtung der Nase
des Patienten zeigt (Abb. 3).

Warnung: Es ist sicherzustellen,
dass das Kopfband nicht zu stark
angezogen wird. Ein zu stark angezogenes
Kopfband kann zu Druckstellen und zu
Hämatombildung führen.
1 hinWeis: Zur Unterstützung der
Druckverteilung kann eine passende
Unterlage unter die Halterung für den
Patiententracker gelegt werden. Durch die
Unterlage darf das Risiko des Verrutschens
oder unbeabsichtigten Verschiebens der
Halterung für den Patiententracker nicht
erhöht werden.
3. Das Kopfband oberhalb der Nase so am
Patienten anlegen, dass der Schriftzug „NOSE"
auf der Halterung für den Patiententracker in die
caudale Richtung des Patienten zeigt (Abb. 4).
Die Halterung für den Patiententracker muss
nicht mittig auf der Stirn positioniert werden,
sondern kann in Richtung temporal und/oder
cranial verschoben sein.

To attach the patient tracker # to the patient,
please follow the instruction manual (97000113) for
the reusable headband 40 80 08­4 (not available for
sale in the US).

Warning: Remove the headband from
the sterile packaging. Care must be taken
to ensure that the individual components
are not contaminated (e.g., due to
being dropped). If the components are
contaminated, they must no longer be used
for treatment.

Warning: Risk of patient injury: The
patient tracker holder must be tested for

possible allergic reactions on an uninjured
section of the patient's skin beforehand.
The holder must not be used in the event of
allergic reactions.
The headband is fastened to the patient as follows:
1. Fasten the headband to the patient tracker hol-
der as shown in Figs. 1 and 2.
2. Position the headband so that the word 'NOSE'
is pointing towards the patient's nose (Fig. 3).

Warning: It must be ensured that the
headband is not fastened too tightly. A
headband that is fastened too tightly can
lead to pressure points and hematoma
formation.
1 note: To aid pressure distribution,
a suitable underlay can be placed
underneath the patient tracker holder. The
underlay must not increase the risk of the
patient tracker holder slipping or moving
inadvertently.
3. Position the headband above the patient's nose
such that the word 'Nose' on the patient tracker
holder is pointing in the patient's caudal direc-
tion (Fig. 4). The patient tracker holder does not
have to be positioned in the center of the fore-
head, rather it can be moved in a temporal and/
or cranial direction.

Cuidado: Extraiga la cinta para la cabeza
fuera del embalaje esterilizado. Asegúrese
de que las diferentes piezas no se hayan
ensuciado (p. ej., por haberse caído al
suelo). Las piezas sucias no se deben
seguir utilizando para el tratamiento.

Cuidado: Riesgo de lesiones para el
paciente. A fin de comprobar si el paciente
presenta alguna reacción alérgica al
soporte para el localizador de paciente
colóquelo antes sobre una zona de la piel
del paciente que no presente lesiones.
No utilice el soporte en caso de reacción
alérgica del paciente.
Para fijar la cinta a la cabeza del paciente, siga los
siguientes pasos:
1. Fije la cinta para la cabeza al soporte para el
localizador de paciente tal como se muestra en
las figs. 1 y 2.
2. Coloque la cinta para la cabeza en el paciente
de modo que el rótulo "NOSE" quede orientado
hacia la nariz del paciente (fig. 3).

Cuidado: Hay que asegurarse de que
la cinta para la cabeza no esté demasiado
apretada. Una cinta demasiado apretada
puede provocar zonas de presión y
hematomas.
1 nota: Para mejorar la distribución de
la presión, puede colocarse una capa
protectora adecuada bajo el soporte
para el localizador de paciente. Hay que
asegurarse de que dicha capa protectora
no aumente el riesgo de deslizamiento o
desplazamiento involuntario del soporte
para el localizador de paciente.
3. Coloque la cinta para la cabeza por encima
de la nariz del paciente, de modo que el rótulo
"NOSE" en el soporte para el localizador de
paciente esté orientado en dirección caudal del
paciente (fig. 4). El soporte para el localizador
del paciente no tiene que estar necesariamente
centrado en la frente del paciente, sino que
puede colocarse con una orientación temporal
y/o craneal.
