Sicherheitsmaßnahmen beim
Einsatz des Gerätes
Alle Produkte von KARL STORZ sind unter strikter
Einhaltung von strengen Sicherheits standards
entwickelt und produziert worden. Trotzdem ist
für den Schutz von menschlichem Leben ein
ordnungsgemäßes Verwenden sowie die regelmäßige
Wartung eines medizinischen Systems notwendig. Es
ist unerlässlich, dass der Anwender dieses Systems
alle in der Ge brauchs anweisung aufgeführten
Gefahren und Sicherheitshinweise liest, beachtet
und strikt einhält, um die Sicherheit von Patient und
Anwender zu gewährleisten. Wird vermutet, dass das
Navigationssystem oder eine der Komponenten defekt
oder falsch justiert ist, DARF DAS Navigationssystem
NICHT VERWENDET WERDEN, bis eine Überprüfung
sowie ggf. eine Reparatur durchgeführt worden
ist. Eine Verwendung von Teilen oder des ganzen
Navigationssystems mit defekten oder falsch justierten
Komponenten kann den Patienten Gefahren für
seine persönliche Sicherheit aussetzen. Dies kann zu
ernsthaften oder tödlichen Verletzungen führen.
Trennen Sie das KARL STORZ Navigationssystem
im Brandfall vom Netz, bevor Sie den Brand
löschen. Auf diese Weise wird die Gefahr eines
elektrischen Schlags beim Löschen reduziert.
Für das KARL STORZ Navigationssystem dürfen

Safety precautions when
operating the unit
All KARL STORZ products are developed and
produced in absolute compliance with the
strictest safety standards. Nevertheless, in order
to protect human life, the medical system must
be used properly and maintained regularly. It is
mandatory that the user of this system reads,
observes and adheres to all the hazard and safety
information given in this instruction manual in order
to guarantee the safety of the patient and user. If
it is suspected that the navigation system or one
of its components is faulty or incorrectly adjusted,

sistema médico. Es, por tanto, indispensable que
el operador de este sistema lea todas las indicacio
nes de peligro y de seguridad contenidas en este
Manual de instrucciones, y que las observe y res
pete estrictamente a fin de garantizar la seguridad
del paciente y del operador. Si se supone que el
sistema de navegación o uno de sus componen
tes está defectuoso o mal configurado, el sistema
de navegación de KARL STORZ NO DEBE SER
UTILIZADO, hasta que se haya llevado a cabo una
verificación o, si es necesario, una reparación del
mismo. La utilización de piezas o del sistema de
navegación completo con componentes defectuo
sos o mal configurados puede poner en peligro la
seguridad personal del paciente. Esto puede con
llevar lesiones graves o incluso mortales.
En caso de incendio, desconecte el sistema de
navegación de KARL STORZ de la red antes de
extinguir el fuego. De esta forma, se reduce el
peligro de una descarga eléctrica al apagar el
incendio.
Para el sistema de navegación de KARL STORZ
utilice únicamente extintores previstos para
incendios de origen eléctrico y químico.
Los cables y cubiertas de todo tipo deben ser
extraídos únicamente por personal especializado
autorizado por el fabricante y distribuidor, en tanto
en esta Instrucción no se indique explícitamente lo
contrario.
