7. Safety instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information. If you do
not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this manual, we assume
no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
Before use
• Check the rigging and make sure compartments are sealed.
• The transmitter and receiver batteries should have sufficient charge to avoid losing control
• Assess the sailing conditions and develop a strategy before launching.
• Switch ON the transmitter first, and then switch ON the receiver.
During use • Do not operate the model:
• Never attempt to swim after a stalled or stuck sailboat. Wait for the wind to blow it ashore.
• Do not sail out of transmitter ↔ receiver range.
After use • Switch OFF the receiver first, and then switch OFF the transmitter.
