Product description

The power wheelchair is suitable for indoor and outdoor
use. The powerful drive system with two 12 V batteries com-
bined with spring-mounted drive wheels allows obstacles to
be crossed easily (Category B according to EN 12184) and
offers safe operating performance.
The power wheelchair is controlled by the enAble50 wheel-
chair control system. The latter includes a control panel to
enter driving commands and display the current status as
well as a controller that controls the drive motors and other
electrical functions based on the input data. Data transmis-
sion is realised via a CAN-bus system.
The enAble50 is programmable so that the controls can be
adjusted to individual user requirements. The speed, accel-
eration and deceleration values, for example, can be ad-
justed.
The two steering casters are controlled by separate steering
motors. This considerably improves the driving characteris-
tics, especially on uneven terrain or at higher speeds.
C1000 DS
The steering casters driven by steering motors turn by 90°
or 360° depending on the programming. This results in ex-
cellent manoeuvrability, both indoors and outdoors.
Special features of the power wheelchair include:
Serviceability due to easy, straightforward access to all
components.
Individual adaptation possibilities with options and cus-
tom fabrication using modular components (chassis,
seating system, control unit, accessories).
The modular design of the power wheelchair makes it pos-
sible to add other modules and devices in addition to the
main components (see Figure 1), e. g. electric seat adjust-
ment, special controls, tray, etc. These options are de-
scribed in Section 7.
