tem. The power wheelchair may be used for transportation by
an attendant if the corresponding optional special controls are
installed.
Any other use is considered improper use. The manufacturer is
not liable for any personal injury or damage to property result-
ing from improper use; in such cases, the user has sole liability.
The power wheelchair may only be used by properly trained
persons. Training in the use of the power wheelchair is re-
quired to protect persons from danger and to ensure that
the power wheelchair is operated safely and correctly.
Safe operation of the power wheelchair can only be assured
if it is used for the intended purpose in accordance with the
information in these instructions for use. The user is ultimately
responsible for accident-free operation.

Field of application

The versatility of the power wheelchair and its modular de-
sign make it suitable for users who have walking impedi-
ments or walking inabilities due to:
Paralysis
Loss of limbs
Limb defects / deformities
Joint contractures / defects
Other disorders
The power wheelchair was designed especially for users
who are able to move independently in such a power wheel-
chair.
The following points should also be considered for individual
fittings:
Body size and body weight (for the maximum load ca-
pacity of the product, see the section „Technical Data")
Physical and psychological limitations
Age of the patient
Living conditions
Environment
