In this position, the control unit will recognise that the brake
has been released and automatically deactivate the driving
function. As soon as the joystick is deflected, a warning will
appear on the LCD monitor.
INFORMATION
Once the brake release lever has been released, all brak-
ing systems are deactivated.
INFORMATION
The control unit may be switched off in push mode.
Activating the brake
To activate the brake, push the brake release lever forward until
the brake release bolt engages. To reactivate the driving func-
tion, switch the wheelchair control unit off and then back on.

Batteries

CAUTION
Using an incorrect battery type. The batteries and charg-
er constitute a harmonised system in order to guarantee
optimised charging characteristics. Using an incorrect bat-
tery type can result in health hazards due to leaking battery
acid, permanent damage or destruction of the battery.
