7.3.6 2x Adapter Cable for Piko Button
The power wheelchair may be equipped with a 2x adapter
cable. The respective Piko button that is connected may be
used to control electrical seat functions. The functions to be
controlled are selected when the power wheelchair is or-
dered. Your specialist dealer can change the assignment of
the button using a handheld programming device or pro-
gramming station.
The buttons are equipped with a so-called toggle function.
This means that the selected function is activated as long as
the button is pressed.
Pressing the button again activates the selected function in
the opposite direction. For example, when the function for
the electric back rest is activated, the back rest moves back
as long as the button is pushed the first time the button is
activated. Activating this function again causes the back
rest to move forward as long as the button is pushed.

Additional Options

7.4.1 Recaro Seat

WARNING
Risk of injury due to tipping during operation. Before
driving up slopes or over obstacles, a tilted seat must
be lowered to its basic position, the lift seat must be in
its lowest position, and the back must be in the upright
position. Slightly tilt the seat to the rear when driving
down inclines or over obstacles and reduce the speed
(max. 3 km/h).
Driving backwards should be limited to manoeuvring or
short distances on level ground.
CAUTION
Risk of tipping due to incorrect back angle adjustment.
When standing still, the back rest may be inclined to the
rear up to 30° only. During driving on level ground, the
back rest may be inclined to the rear by up to 20° only.
