6.1.5 Footrests

CAUTION
Risk of pinching. Ensure limbs are clear of the danger
zone when folding the footrests up or down.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to the front lighting. Do not swing the
footrests to the outside or damage to the front lighting may
occur.
INFORMATION
Complete removal of the footrest from the adapter is only
permitted for transportation of the power wheelchair.
Removing the footrests
1. Remove the calf band.
2. Fold the footrests up, release the footrest locking
mechanism (see Figure 14) and swing the footrest to
the inside.
3. Pull the footrest up to remove it.

Installing the footrests
1. Reinsert the footrest from above by placing it in the
adapter and swinging it forward until the footrest lock-
ing mechanism engages.
2. Reattach the calf band to the adapter.

Adapting the footrests to the lower leg length
1. Loosen the screws on the footplate bar using an Allen
wrench size 4 (see Figure 15).
2. Move the footrests up or down to adapt the height
to the individual lower leg length and seat cushion
thickness.
