7.9 Wasserfüllung in der
Profilbereifung
Die Profilbereifung enthält werkseitig zur Steige-rung
des Vortriebsverhaltens eine Wasserfüllung mit
einem Frostschutzzusatz aus Magnesium-Chlorid. In
Ländern, in denen Temperaturen unter dem
Nullpunkt nicht vor-liegen, kann bei Reparaturen der
Bereifung auf den Frostschutz-zusatz verzichtet
werden, d.h. es ist eine Füllung mit reinem Wasser
durchzuführen.
Das Magnesiumchlorid ist handelsübliches,
granuliertes Salz mit 47% Trockensubstanz, das vom
chemischen Großhandel bezogen werden kann.

Treaded tyres - Water Filling

To improve the propulsional properties of the unti,
the tyres are filled at the factory with a solution of
water and magnesium chloride as an anti-freeze
medium. In such countries where the temperature
never drops below the freezing point, the anti-freeze
solution need not be replaced when a repair has
necessitated emptying the typre, i. e. the tyre may be
refilled with plain water.
The magnesium chloride is a commercial granulated
salt with 47% share of dry substance, which can be
procured from wholesale chemical dealers.
