Aufbau und Arbeitsweise
Design structure and mode of operation
Die zulässige dauernde Schräglage des PERKINS-
Motors beträgt sowohl in Fahrt-richtung (in Längs-
achse des Motors) als auch quer zur Fahrtrichtung
(in Querachse des Motors) jeweils ± 24 Grad, was
einer Steigung bzw. einem Gefälle von 45% ent-
spricht.
Einspritzpumpe und Regler sind an den Motor-
schmieröl-Kreislauf angeschlossen und erfordern
keine besondere Wartung. Das Spannen und das
Prüfen des Keilriemens am Dieselmotor sollte nur
nach Angaben des Motor-herstellers vorgenommen
werden (siehe beilie-gendes Betriebshandbuch der
Fa. Perkins).

The permissible inclination of the PERKINS engine
for continous operation is ± 24 degree (approx.
45%) in direction of travel, i. e. engine front or rear
down and ± 24 degree (approx. 45%) laterally, i. e.
either left or right side down.
Injection pump and regulator are incorporated in the
engine lub circuit and, therefore, require no special
servicing.
The tensing and examing of the V-belt of the diesel
engine should only be done in accordance with the
manufacturers indications (see the enclosing operati-
on manual of Perkins).
