Inbetriebnahme

GEFAHR !
Der Maschinenführer kann während des Betriebs des
Walzenzugs durch die geöffneten Türen aus der Fah-
rerkabine stürzen. Deshalb sind während des Betriebs
beide Türen geschlossen zu halten (Forderung des
Fachausschusses Tiefbau).
Für den Verkehr auf öffentlichen Straßen
im Geltungsbereich der Deutschen
Straßenverkehrs-Zulassungsordnung
(StVZO) sind alle Liefervarianten
betriebserlaubnispflichtig. Die Betriebs-
erlaubnis muß vom Walzenfahrer beim
Fahren auf öffentliche Straßen mitgeführt
werden.
Für den Walzenfahrer besteht gemäß §4 Abs.1
StVZO eine Erlaubnis-und Ausweispflicht zum Führen
eines Kraftfahrzeugs mit einer durch die Bauart be-
stimmten Höchstgeschwindigkeit von mehr als 6 km/h.
5.3.1 Prüfungen vor Inbetriebnahme
Führen Sie die im folgenden Text beschriebenen Ar-
beiten vor Beginn eines jeden Arbeitstags durch.
Zur Durchführung der nachstehenden Arbeiten muß
der Walzenzug auf tragfähigem und mög-lichst waage-
rechten Gelände abgestellt sein. Auf geneigtem Gelän-
de ist der Walzenzug zusätzlich gegen Abrollen zu si-
chern (z.B. durch einen Unterlegkeil).
- Kraftstoffbehälter- und leitungen auf
Dichtigkeit prüfen
- Motor und Maschine auf Zustand prüfen
- Motorölstand prüfen (1)
- Trockenluftfilter prüfen
- Kraftstoffvorrat prüfen,ggf.ergänzen
- Hydraulikölstand des Fahr- und Vibrations-
antriebes und der Lenkanlage kontrollieren.

Starting operation

DANGER !
If the doors of the driver's cab are open during opera-
tion there is the danger of the machine operator falling
out. Therefore both doors must be kept shut during
operation (stipulation of the civil and underground en-
gineering technicalcommittee).

NOTE !
The German engine vehicle construction and use regu-
lation (C.U.R.) requires that all types of delivery ve-
hicles are type approved when travelling on public
roads.The operator of the roller must carry thiscertifi-
cate with him when driving on public roads.
According to § 4 Paragraph 1 of the German C.U.R.
the roller operator must carry with him some means of
identification and a driving license which proves that he
is authorised to drive a such vehicle which due to its
structure has a maximum speed of over 6 km/h.
5.3.1Checks to be carried out before
starting operation
Every day before starting up the roller the checks de-
scribed below must be carried out.To carry out the fol-
lowing inspections the roller must be standing on solid
and whenever possible horizontal ground. If the roller is
standing on a slope it must be additionally secured
against rolling (e.g. by a shim).
