3. Lower the other foot onto the next step or ramp.
4. Continue to walk down the stairs or ramp. The knee will adapt the support to the walking speed.
Note: Leaning backwards keeps from falling forward if balance is lost.
Kneeling
The device automatically detects kneeling motion. The device will provide support until the knee reaches the ground.
To kneel:
1. Put weight onto the prosthetic limb.
2. Take a step forward with the sound leg.
3. Lightly flex the hip on the prosthetic side and hold the pressure until the knee yields.
4. Lower to a kneeling position.
Device warning signals
In case of warnings, stop using device and troubleshoot as follows:
1. Check battery status and recharge if necessary.
2. Check if the device is hot and allow to cool down.
If this does not help, contact your healthcare professional.

Cleaning and care
Clean with a damp cloth and a mild soap. Dry with a cloth after cleaning.
It is recommended to maintain the device in good outward condition by cleaning the surface of the device regularly.
Caution: Do not use solvents stronger than isopropyl alcohol as it might degrade the material.
Caution: Do not use compressed air to clean device.
Note: Device is not delivered in a sterilized state or intended to be sterilized.

Environmental Conditions

The device is Weatherproof.
A Weatherproof device can be used in a wet or humid environment and can tolerate being splashed by fresh water (e. g., rain), no submersion is
allowed.
No contact with salt water or chlorinated water is allowed.
Dry with a cloth after contact with fresh water or humidity.
Clean with fresh water in case of accidental exposure to other liquids, chemicals, sand, dust, or dirt and dry with a cloth.
Warning: Do not use device in a dusty environment or sand.
Note: If sand or dirt gets into the device, range of motion may be affected.
Device Feedback
Audio and/or vibration feedback every 15 seconds (based on user settings).
Device status indicator flashing orange.
After 10-15 minutes:
Audio AND vibration feedback every 15 seconds.
Device status indicator flashing orange.
Repeated audio and vibration feedback for 20 seconds.
Device status indicator flashing red.
After 20 seconds:
Device stops operating, gives shutdown audio feedback and shuts down.
Audio and vibration feedback every 2 seconds.
Device status indicator flashing red.
Audio and vibration feedback every 10 seconds.
