C. Interfacing to Personal Computers
The ACCUTORR allows users with properly equipped personal computers to remotely
access patient data, alarm limits, and ACCUTORR
operational status over a wire cable
(not supplied).
Personal computers must have RS292 serial communications
capabilities with the following characteristics:

Connection to the ACCUTORR is done by a wire cable connected to the 25-pin RS232
connector described above in Section B.
Refer to the personal computer operators
manual for specific wiring requirements.
Once properly connected and configured the computer can request data from the
ACCUTORR by simple commands.
See Appendix in the Operating Instructions or
page 1-52 in this manual for details on using the PC Interface.
D. INTERCONNECTION OF OTHER EQUIPMENT
Only equipment which complies with the relevant IEC or BS safety stand-
ards should be connected to the signal input/output sockets when the
covers are removed.
