Stainless steel front panel
Stainless Steel will not patina but may darken over time.
To brighten this trim, wipe down with warm soapy water. Be sure to rinse, and dry well to avoid water
spots.
Use a stainless steel spray to maintain a shine when clean. Do not spray directly on stainless steel. Stainless
Steel wipes are also acceptable for use here as well.
Every three to six months, give your brushed steel front panel a thorough cleaning to remove grease.
This is also valid for the stainless steel credenza (part in stainless steel between the cooker and hood).
Copper front panel
Originally reddish in colour, the copper finishes oxidize and take on a weathered green appearance over
time. If you don't want this distinctive patina to appear, it is important to clean the surface regularly. Dust
frequently and wash regularly.
The simplest way to clean your cooker and make it shine like new is to use vinegar. Mix white vinegar
with hot water. Wash the finishes by rubbing with a sponge soaked in the vinegar mixture and sprinkle
with coarse salt. Pay particular attention to stains and repeat if necessary. Rinse with warm water, then
wash with a sponge soaked in soapy water. Finish by wiping with a clean soft cloth and then rub with a
wool cloth until it shines.
You can also use a special product for brass and copper, in paste or liquid form, applying it with a soft cloth.
Then remove any residue with a damp sponge: by removing product deposits with water, the shine will
last twice as long.
We recommend "Copper Cleaner" from "Spring" or "Bistrot Cuivre" from "Matfer".

Nickel or chrome finishes
These do not require any particular cleaning. Simply use a window-cleaning product applied to absorbent
paper or a cloth to remove any finger marks.
