The user can then slide onto the wheelchair. Use of a trans-
fer board will make this even easier.
6.2.2 From the front
Flipping up the two footplates makes it possible for the user
to get into and out of the wheelchair from the front. The
space for getting into/out of the wheelchair can be increa-
sed by swinging the footrests to the side (Fig. 18/19).
The assistance of an attendant or a transfer lifter make it
easy for the user to get into or out of the power wheelchair.
Use of a rotation plate is also possible.

6.3 Control Unit
NOTICE
Risk of impairing the driving performance of the power
wheelchair. The driving characteristics of the power
wheelchair can be affected by electromagnetic fields (cell
phones or other radiation emitting devices). For this rea-
son, all mobile devices are to be switched off when driving.
