Open bypass valves
The bypass valves are located on the bottom in the front
area of the tail.
1 Bypass valve
Unscrew the bypass valves by 3 revolutions
(SW 24 mm).
Fasten the towing rope or towing bar to the towing eye.
Slowly drag the vehicle onto the transport vehicle.
After towing, close the spring load of the parking brake
again and close the bypass valves.

Storage

WARNING
Risk of personal injury or damage!
Consider the weight of the vehicle when storing it.
If the vehicle is not used for a longer period of time, ob-
serve the following points:
Park the vehicle at a safe, level and dry place.
Stop the machine.
Set the travel direction lever to the NEUTRAL position
- central position
Note
In this position the parking brake is automatically ap-
plied, the vehicle does not drive.
Raise left and right side brush.
Switch off the water pump.
Switch off the suction turbine.
Turn ignition key to "STOP" and remove it.
Change the engine oil and the oil filter.
If frost is expected, check whether there is enough anti-
frosting agent in the cooling water.
Empty the water reservoir and the pipe system; refer to
chapter "Maintenance Work/Empty water reservoir")
(option).
For the water circulation system (option) drain the wa-
ter from the waste container.
Clean the inside and outside of the sweeper.
Turn the main switch to position 0.
If it is stored for more than 1 month, jack up the vehicle.
Charge battery approx. every 2 months.

Care and maintenance

11.1 General notes

First switch off the appliance and remove the ignition
key before performing any cleaning or maintenance
tasks on the appliance, replacing parts or switching
over to another function.
The battery must be disconnected prior to working on
the electrical system.
Maintenance work may only be carried out by approved
customer service outlets or experts in this field who are
familiar with the respective safety regulations.

11.2 Cowlings

WARNING
Risk of burns!
Allow the vehicle to cool down sufficiently before re-
moving the panels.
For the performance of various maintenance tasks the mo-
tor cowlings must be removed.
Remove the waste container if necessary, see Chapter
"Removing the waste container from the device".
11.2.1 Removing/attaching the lateral motor
cowlings
1 Closure of lateral motor cowling
2 Lateral motor cowling
3 Cover switching valve
11.2.1.1 Remove the lateral motor cowling
In order to remove the lateral motor cowling, the complete
waste container must be slightly raised first.
Remove the cover switching valve and set the switch
lever to the "Attachment frame tilting" position, then
slightly raise the attachment frame (approx. 15 cm),
see Chapter "Switchover waste container/lifting plat-
form",
Open both locks of the lateral motor cowling.
Lift the lateral motor cowling up towards the top and re-
move it to the side.
11.2.1.2 Attaching the lateral motor cowling
Insert the covers from the side.
Hook the cover into the mounting groove on the upper
edge.
Slide the cover into the desired position and secure
with the locks.
