8.1 Checking/adjusting attachment lock
CAUTION
Risk of accident!

Check the lock for correct adjustment each time you in-
stall attachments.
1 Lock lever
2 Tension nut
The following points must be observed when securing the
attachments:
The attachments (e.g. sweeping system, front power

lift) are secured by pressing the locking lever down, the
lock must engage past the dead centre.
If the lock is not set properly, it must be adjusted on the

tension nuts.
8.2

Waste container

CAUTION
Risk of burns on account of hot hydraulic quick couplers!
Wear gloves while separating the couplings.
To remove the waste container from the vehicle, 2 rear and
2 lateral supports are required (optional accessory, order
no. 2.321-028.0).
8.2.1 Preparation
Place the vehicle on a level and solid surface to re-

move/attach the waste container.
Empty waste container and water tank prior to removal.

Remove the suction hose.

Disconnect the water connections between the suction

mouth and the vehicle.
Separate the electric connectors.

Remove the hydraulic hoses; in order to do so, depres-

surise the hydraulic system, see Chapter "Depressuris-
ing the hydraulic system".
8.2.2 Removing the waste container
2 supports at the rear and 2 supports at the side are need-
ed for removing the waste container.
Note
When Toyo 225 tyres are fitted, the removal and installa-
tion of the waste container can be more difficult due to col-
lision with the vehicle chassis. This problem can be solved
by using special adapter plates screwed to the rear sup-
ports (order no. available on request). Newer supports are
already fitted with the adapter plates.

Close the stop cock of the water circulation system.

Disconnect coupling of the water circulation system,

suspend the hose into the holder.
Disconnect coupling recycled water, suspend the hose

into the holder.

Set the switch lever to the "Attachment frame tilting" po-

sition (see Chapter Switchover waste container/attach-
ment frame tilting").
