sind bei diesem Gerat durch den Einsatz eines
Halbbildspeichers mehrere neue Funktionen
mdglich. Die Auswahi dieser Funktionen er-
foigt iber die Fernbedienung.
— Bildim Bild (PIP = Picture in Picture)
Einblendung einer beliebigen Programm-
quelle an beliebiger Stelle ins laufende Wie-
dergabebild.
— Multi Still (M-S)
Von einer Bildquelle, z.B. bei laufender
Wiedergabe, werden, in Form einer Bewe-
gungsabfrage, nacheinander 8 "Standbil-
der" ausgewahlit und reihum aktualisiert. Im
neunten, mittleren Teilbild erfolgt die nor-
male, bewegte Wiedergabe.
— Multi channel (M-C)
Nacheinander wird je ein Standbild von 9 in
der Sendertabelle (Textprogramming) aut-
einander folgenden HF-Sendern mit dem
Programmnamen
dargestelit und reihum
aktualisiert.
— Strobe (STROB)
Bei Wiedergabe in Normalgeschwindigkeit
und EE-Betrieb wird in regelmaBigen Ab-
standen ein Halbbild gespeichert und ge-
zeigt.
— {st nur ein Kleinbild (PIP) eingeblendet,
kann durch Driicken der Taste E3} der
Bildinhalt des Kleinbildes
mit dem
des
GroBbildes vertauscht werden.
— Beim Betiitigen der Taste STOP wird bei
jeder Darstellungsart im PIP-Betrieb der
Bildinhait "eingefroren".
— MEMO
/ DEMO
Das gerade gezeigte Bild wird gespeichert.
Es kann spater wieder abgerufen werden.
— PAINTING
Dieser Effekt vergrébert die Bildauflésung
im Luminanzzweig.
— ZOOM
Das GroBbild wird stufenweise vergré8ert.
Der zu vergréBernde Teil ist wahlbar.
— MOSAIK
Das GroBbild wird, in Stufen frei wahibar,
mosaikartig vergrobert.
Durch Betatigen der Taste CL werden alle
Funktionen, auBer MEMO zurickgesetzt.
Funktion:
Der Bildspeicher besteht aus zwei parallen
Signalwegen,
dem
Bypass-Signalweg
und
dem Speicher-Signalweg.
1. Bypass-Signalweg (MAIN CHANNEL)
Dieser Zweig arbeitet nur bei PIP-Funktionen
(GroBbild) und bei Transcoderbetrieb
(SE-
CAM-PAL).
a.) Chrominanzsignal
Der Chroma-Multinorm-Decoder IC 3840
(IC 4040) schaltet je nach Norm des eintref-
fenden Signals (PAL / SECAM), das ent-
sprechende
Eingangsfilter
CT 3813/CT
3825 (CT 4013/CT 4025) zu und decodiert
danach dieses Eingangssignal. Die entste-
henden Farbdifferenzsignale -U und -V lei-
tet man zur Klemmung (IC 4550) weiter.
b,) Luminanzsignal
Das Y-Signal durchlauft im Bypass-Signal-
weg, abhangig vom Schaltstatus der Ab-
laufsteuerung (VHS, S-VHS), das entspre-
chende Eingangsfilter. Die jeweilige Um-
schaltung erfoigt durch CT 3968, CT 3975
und CT 3977. AnschlieBend wird das Sig-
nal in der Verstarkerstufe

3085/CT
3991
(CT 4190/CT
4192/CT
4199) verstarkt und sowohl der Klemmstu-
fe, IC 4550, IC 4485, als auch einem Ampli-
tudensieb IC 3910 (IC 4130) zugefihrt.
Field Store
In comparison to a conventional Video Recor-
der, the Half Field Store fitted to this model
makes
many new functions possible. The
selection of these functions is obtained by the
remote control.
- Picture in Picture (PIP)
Blending in a picture from any available
programme source into a position of choise
into the picture being played back.
- Multi-Still (M-S)
From a picture source, eg when playing
back continously, 8 "Freeze Frames" can be
selected and displayed in series in the form
of a moving sequence. Jn the ninth picture
(in the middle) playback in normal speed is
produced.
- Multi Channel (M-C)
Sequential freeze frames from each of the 9
stations in the transmitter table (Text-Pro-
gramming) in sequence along with the Pro-
gramme Ident are displayed.
- Strobe (STROB)
When playing back in Normal Speed and
EE-Mode, at regular intervals, a half field is
stored and displayed.
- If only one small picture (PIP) is blended in,
then by depressing the button
the pic-
ture content of the small picture is exchan-
ged with that of the large picture.
- When depressing the STOP button, in each
of the display functions in PiP-Mode, the
picture contents is "Frozen".
- MEMO/DEMO
The picture just displayed is memorised and
can be recalled at a later time.
- PAINTING
This effect coarsens the picture resolution in
the luminance path.
- ZOOM
The main picture is enlarged in stages. The
area of enlargement can be selected.
- MOSAIC
The main picture is made coarse in freely
selectable stages and displayed in mosaic
mode.
By depressing the CL button all functions are
reset with the exception of MEMO.
Function:
The Field Store Memory consists of two paral-
jel signal paths, the Bypass signal path and the
Memory-signal path.
1. Bypass-Signal Path (MAIN CHANNEL)
This path operates only on PIP functions (large
picture) and on Transcoder mode (SECAM -
PAL).
a.) Chrominance Signal
The Chroma Multi-Standard Decoder IC
3840 (IC 4040) switches, according to the
Standard of the incomming signals (PAL/
SECAM), the signal through the appropria-
te input filter CT 3813/CT 3825 (CT 4013/
CT 4025) and the inputis decoded. The re-
sulting Colour Difference Signals -U and -V
are ready for clamping (IC 4550).
b.) Luminance Signal
The Y-Signal in the Bypass Signal Path,
depending upon the switching status from
the Sequence Control (VHS, S-VHS), pas-
ses through the appropriate input filter. The
required switching is carried out by CT
3968, CT 3975, CT 3977. Subsequently,
the signal is amplified in an amplifying
stage (CT 3983/CT
3985/CT
3991
(CT
4190/CT 4192/CT 4199), fed to a clamping
stage, !C 4550, IC 4485 and also fed toa
sync separator IC 3910 (IC 4130). From the

Visualizzazione di una fonte di programma
in un punto qualsiasi dell'immagine che si
sta riproducendo.
- Multi Still (M-S)
Da una fonte d'immagine, per es. durante la
riproduzione,
vengono
scelti successiva-
mente otto "fermi immagine" ed aggiornati
in senso rotatorio. Nella nona immagine al
centro avviene la normale riproduzione.
- Multi channel (M-C)
Uno dopo I'altro viene rappresentato un fer-
mo immagine per ciascuna di nove emitten-
ti consecutive contenute nella tabella omo-
nima (Textprogramming)
con
la sigla del
programma ed aggiornato circolarmente.
- Strobe (STROB)
Durante la riproduzione del nastro a velocita
normale e nel funzionamento EE, un semi-
quadro viene memorizzato e riprodotto ad
intervalli regolari.
- Se é visualizzata solo un'immagine piccola
(PIP), premendo il tasto
é possibile
invertire il contenuto di questa immagine
con quello della grande.
- Azionando il tasto STOP, per qualsiasi tipo
di riproduzione PIP viene "congelato" il con-
tenuto dell'immagine.
- MEMO/DEMO
L'immagine riprodotta in quel momento vie-
ne memorizzata e pud essere fichiamata
pid avanti.
- Painting
Questo effetto influisce sulla tisoluzione
deil'immagine nefl'ambito della luminanza.
- ZOOM
L'immagine grande viene gradualmente in-
grandita. Si pud scegliere la partecia ingran-
dire.
- MOSAIK
L'immagine grande viene suddivisa in zone
che possono essere scelte evidenziate a
forma di mosaico.
Con il tasto CL vengono ripristinate tutte le
funzioni precedenti tranne che in situazione
MEMO.
Prospetto delle funzioni:
La memoria d'immagine @ composta da due
percorsi paralleli del segnale: uno per il segna-
le bypass e l'altro per il segnale memoria.
1. Percorso del segnale bypass
(MAIN CHANNEL)
Questa sezione lavora esclusivame nte per le
funzioni PIP {immagine grande) e quando il
transcoder (SECAM-PAL) é inserit.
a.) Segnale di crominanza
