The e.sybox with firmware version of 4.00 or more will show the screen:
Where in place of x.y the firmware version of the e.sybox
will appear.
2. Prem Press the [+] key on the Master machine (the one with firmware version of 4.00 or more).
3. Switch off the electric power supply to the Slave e.sybox and wait for the display to switch off.
4. On the Slave e.sybox, supply power by holding down simultaneously the [MODE] and [-] keys until the update screen appears.
5. Wait for the update to be successfully completed and for both machines to restart.
Problem solving
If the update has not been successful, the machine that you were trying to update (Slave) goes into an inconsistent status which does not allow a
new semiautomatic update. In this case the updating procedure must be performed manually.

An e.sybox can also be updated by e.sylink. For the procedure, refer to the e.sylink manual.

14. TROUBLESHOOTING

Before starting to look for faults it is necessary to disconnect the power supply to the pump (take the plug out of the socket).

Check whether there is voltage in the socket and
insert the plug again.

Increase the system restarting pressure level by
increasing SP or decreasing RP.
1. Check the system, find and eliminate the leak.
2. Dismantle the system and remove the
obstructions (assistance service).
3. Check the suction pipe, find and eliminate the
cause of air getting in.
4. Contact the assistance centre.
1. As the suction depth increases the hydraulic
performance of the product decreases
(Description of the Electropump). Check
whether the suction depth can be reduced.
Use a suction pipe with a larger diameter (but
never smaller than 1").
2. Check the suction pipe, find the cause of
choking (obstruction, dry bend, counterslope,
...) and remove it.
3. Dismantle the system and remove the
obstructions (assistance service).
1. Check the system, find and eliminate the
leak.
2. Service the non-return valve as described in
par. 12.3.
Check the air pressure through the valve in the
technical compartment. If water comes out when
checking, the vessel is broken: assistance
service. Otherwise restore the air pressure
according to the equation par. 3.2.
TCalibrate the expansion vessel pressure or
configure the parameters SP and/or RP so as to
satisfy the equation par.3.2.
1-2. Prime the pump and check whether there is
air in the pipe. Check whether the suction or any
filters are blocked.
