Getting Started

5.1. Unpacking

● Carefully remove the product components from the packaging.
● Check that the shipment is complete and undamaged. Please contact the delivery com-
pany immediately in case you have any reason for complaint.
● If possible, keep the original packaging; this can be useful when transporting the product
at a later point.

5.2. Software Installation

Due to safety reasons and in order to ensure full compatibility, the Scopis ENT Software
may only be installed by Stryker or one of its authorized partners.

5.3. Product Startup

WARNING
The product may only be operated with a valid manual. Make sure that the software version
and part number correspond with the manual.
If you are asked for a serial number during the start-up of the software, please contact
Stryker and have the displayed system-ID at hand.
In order to start the product, please proceed as follows:
1. After booting, start the software via the application icon on the Windows Desktop.
2. Upon first start, the software performs a fully automatic capability inspection. In the
case of incompatibility, please contact Stryker.
3. Click on the application logo in the upper left corner of the screen. The version dialog of
the software will open; see "About Dialog." Make sure that the software version corre-
sponds to the system manual. For this to be the case, the first two digits in the software
version (e.g. 1.9 in 1.9.0) and the manual version must be identical.
