10.1 OVERPRESSURE alarm
The overpressure alarm is activated with the stopping of the pump/pumps and the lighting of the red led on the front panel, when the system
pressure exceeds the maximum level of 10 bar.
This alarm is reset when the system pressure falls below 5 bar and a maximum time of 40 seconds has elapsed.
10.2 EXTERNAL INPUT alarm
The external input alarm is active only if the Dip Switch 6 ON function is selected.
The alarm is activated with the stopping of the pump/pumps, the lighting of the red led on the front panel and the remote alarm, if installed, when
the float or the minimum pressure switch indicate the lack of water at suction.
The tripping of the protection may be selected with a delay of 5 seconds (Dip Switch 7 ON) or a delay of 1 second (Dip Switch 7 OFF).
When the alarm conditions are reset, the system will start working again.
Attention!
If forced operation for 1 minute (Dip Switch 4 ON) has been selected in the pressure and flow switch function, WHEN
THE CONDITIONS ARE RESET IT IS NECESSARY TO TURN OFF THE ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY TO THE SYSTEM FOR
ABOUT 10 SECONDS!
10.3 DRY OPERATION alarm
The dry operation alarm is activated with the stopping of the pump/pumps, the lighting of the red led on the front panel and the remote alarm, if
installed, when there is no water flow in the system and the system pressure does not reach the set value of PStart.
The set value of PStart must not exceed the value shown on the pump data plate!
After stopping, the pump/pumps start again automatically, making 3 attempts of 3 minutes each, with pauses of 10 seconds.
If the result is negative, the attempts at restarting will be repeated after 4 hours for Sets of 2 pumps and after 1 - 4 - 15 hours for a single pump.
10.4 ANTICYCLING protection
Dip Switch 5 OFF (function active)
Dip Switch 5 OFF (function inactive)
The Anticycling protection allows you to limit the number of pump starts to as to protect it.
It is activated with the lighting of the red led on the front panel.
Anticycling Protection: in the Pressure boosting function
If the pause time between one cycle and the next is:
20 seconds or less,
a number of 20 cycles in a maximum time of 10 minutes,
the system activates the Anticycling protection, obliging the pump to make forced pauses of 30 seconds.
This alarm stops only if there is a pause of more than 35 seconds.
Anticycling Protection: in the Pressure and flow switch and RWS function
If the pause time between one cycle and the next is:
20 seconds or less,
always the same as the previous one,
a number of more than 20 cycles,
without water flow,
the system activates the Anticycling protection, obliging the pump to make forced pauses of 30 seconds.
This alarm stops only if:
- there is a pause of more than 35 seconds,
- or in the presence of water flow.
10.5 DIP-SWITCH INCOHERENCE alarm
The Dip-Switch incoherence alarm is activated with the lighting of the red led on the front panel when there is an incorrect setting of the
functions in the Dip-Switches or when a Stop pressure of more than 10 bar has been set by mistake.
To reset the alarm, return the Dip-Switches and the Stop pressure to the correct position.
10.6 COMMUNICATION ABSENT alarm IN SETS OF 2 PUMPS
The communication absent alarm in sets of 2 pumps is activated with the lighting of the red led on the front panel and the remote alarm, if
installed, either when the power supply to one of the 2 pumps is absent or when the contact is interrupted for any reason.
In this situation the 2 pumps will work individually until the alarm conditions are reset.
10.7 ANTIFREEZE function
In the event of temperatures lower than 5°C, the system allows for a series of forced operations lasting 10 seconds each.
