The development, manufacture, and check of the heating element
butt-welding machine HÜRNER HWT 400–WeldControl has
been performed with a view to superior operation safety and user-
friendliness. The product was manufactured and checked according
to the so-called machinery directive, as amended, as it is applied, and
bearing ergonomic aspects in mind.
To ensure maximum operation safety, please observe the appropriate

Operating the Product Safely

For your own safety, comply with the following instructions.
• Protect the power supply cord and, if used, the hydraulic pressure
lines from cutting edges. Have an authorized service shop replace
damaged cables or lines immediately.
• The product may be operated and serviced exclusively by autho-
rized staff who were briefed on it.
• The product may be operated only when observed.
• Before operating the product, always check for damaged parts
and have them repaired or replaced by an authorized service shop
as needed.
