Perfect roasts for gourmets. The Fissler roasters.
We congratulate you on your new Fissler roaster. Our roasters enable you to enjoy roasting for all the senses in
a practical manner. Thanks to their very good heat properties and smart functions the high-quality materials allow
you to roast, steam and stew food - and more.
The „right" type for every application - the Fissler range includes sealed roasters and roasters made of stainless
steel.
The dishes you can prepare in your roaster:
• Juicy roasts (pork, beef, poultry or game)
• Stewed meals, e.g. goulash
• Steamed delicacies, such as vegetables, fruit, fish or delicate meat
• Tasty soups or sauces
• Fried food, e.g. meat, vegetables, fruit or pasta
• Gratins and casseroles
• Smoked food (in roaster made of 18/10 stainless steel)
General information on all roasters
• We recommend that you always protect your hands properly.
• When using your roaster, always make sure that it is centered and resting securely on the stove.Always use a
burner which is the same size as or only a little smaller than the roaster base.
• When frying, to avoid the risk of burns caused by oil boiling over or spitting the roaster may be no more than
a third filled with oil. Only use high-temperature oils or vegetable fats. Do not use a lid when frying and do not
overheat the oil (max. 200°C).
• You can save energy by making use of the heat stored in the high-quality Fissler bases simply by turning down
the heat source early and turning the stove off even before the end of the cooking period.
• Always place the lid on the roaster when stewing.
• In individual cases it can happen that the tightly fitting lid becomes stuck to the roaster when it cools. To pre-
vent this, wipe the edges of the roaster and lid dry before they cool. If the lid should become stuck despite this,
relieve the low pressure by heating the roaster again.
• Never place the hot glass lid on a wet, cold countertop, and never cool it with cold running water since the
temperature shock could damage the lid.
• Do not add salt to cold water. Instead, wait for the water to boil and then stir in the salt.Adding salt to cold
water may lead to extremely high salt concentrations near the base, which can cause corrosion spots on the
