C l e a n i n g t h e air c l e a n e r e l e m e n t
The air cleaner element filters dirt from the
air entering the carburetor, keeping engine
w e a r to an absolute m i n i m u m . This model
uses a paper type element w h i c h provides
very effective filtering action.
1. Lift the seat and remove the holt holding
the tank.
2. Turn the fuel petcock lever to " O F F "
position and disconnect the fuel pipes.
3. Lift the fuel tank, and remove the bolts
holding the cleaner case cover. Pull out
the element.
