5. After the engine Starts, warm up for one
or two minutes. Make sure the Starter
jet
(choke) lever is returned to the
original position before driving.
Starting a warm engine
1. Turn the fuel petcock to " O N " .
2. Turn the ignition key to the #1 position
and engine stop switch to " R U N " .
3. Slightly open the throttle grip.

Kick the kick crank with füll strength to
Start the engine.
N O T E :
Do not operate the Starter jet (choke)
lever when the engine is already warm.
