The dip stick has a M i n i m u m and a M a x i m u m
mark, and the oil level should be between the
two. If the level is lower, then add sufficient
oil to raise it to the proper level. Düring the
break-in period, you should replace the gear
oil 3 0 days or 5 0 0 k m after the date of
purchase.
The transmission should be drained and refill-
ed approximately every 3 , 0 0 0 k m . On the
bottom of the engine there is a drain plug.
R e m o v e it and drain all the transmission oil
out. Reinstall the drain plug (make sure it is
tight). A d d oil through the dip stick hole.
N O T E :
D o n o t a d d a n y c h e m i c a l a d d i t i v e s .
T r a n s m i s s i o n oil also lubricates the clutch
and additives could cause the clutch to slip.
