Locking the brake
To lock the brake, push the red brake release lever inwards.
To reactivate the driving function, you must switch off the
wheelchair controls and then switch them on again.

6.5 Batteries

NOTICE
Risk of damage to the battery packs. The batteries are
factory-encapsulated in battery packs. Battery packs
should not be opened because this could cause irreversib-
le damage to the encapsulated battery or battery pack.
INFORMATION
Regularly checking of the remaining battery capacity and
charging of the battery early enough are indispensable
preconditions for the operational safety of your power
wheelchair.

Before doing any maintenance work on the batteries, ple-
ase read the battery manufacturer's warnings thoroughly!
Please observe the disposal instructions (see section 11).
The power wheelchair comes factory-equipped with two
maintenance-free AGM batteries with a total capacity of
28 Ah (C5). The batteries are located in two battery packs
under the seat of the power wheelchair (Fig. 22).
