4.5 Memory storage of measured values/reading of
memory of measured values
4.5.1 in the engine test, in the injection test and in the exhaust
gas analysis
In every measuring program, you can memorize up to 8 pairs of
measured values by pressing the hardkey „Memorization" S or
the toggle switch of the ignition timing light. The number of pairs
of measured values already memorized is indicated together with
the symbol in the status line. If the memory of measured values is
full (8 pairs of measured values memorized), 8 appears high-
lighted.
If the hardkey „Memorization" S remains pressed, the measured
values are „freezed up"; if the hardkey is released the measured
values are memorized and the actual value displayed.
The reading of the pairs of measured values is released by
pressing the hardkey „Memory reading" s. If you continue to
press the hardkey „Memory reading" s or by pressing the
softkeys F1 and F2, you can call again every pair of measured
values memorized. Clearing (erase) the memory of measured
values is carried out by pressing the hardkey „Return" O and by
selecting again the corresponding measuring program or by
selecting a new measuring program.

4.5.2 in the oscilloscope mode:
Pressing the hardkey „Memorization" S erases the picture memory
and the next oscillograms following (max. 32 possible pictures)
are read to the picture memory.
If you press the hardkey „Memory reading" s, the oscilloscope
picture is „stored" (memorized). Moreover, the last oscilloscope
pictures (max. 32 pictures possible) are memorized which have
appeared before pressing the hardkey „Memory reading" s at
the Motortester. These can be called individually in the sub-
program. See also section 5.4.
Press the hardkey „Return" O to exit the „Memory mode" and to
return to the „Life mode".
