Multitest

F1: Measurement of d.c. voltage with red multi-clip. Reference
point is vehicle ground (terminal B-; for safety reasons the
black multi-clip is separated from the Motortester) and rpm
measurement.
Oscillogram: voltage measurement with multi-clip (signal
progression)
Range: 20 V/25 ms with d.c. coupling.
F2: Measurement of current and rpm. For precise measure-
ment of current, conduct "zero point calibration".
Oscillogram: current measurement
Range: 250 mA, 10 A or 200 A / 125 ms with d.c. coupling
(depending on whether current-measuring pickup or current-
measuring shunt)
F3: Measurement of voltage without potential, with red and
black multi-clip, measurement of current and measurement
of rpm.
No oscillogram possible.
F4: Measurement of resistance with black and with red multi-
clip.
For precise measurement of current, conduct "zero point
calibration" with multi-clips short-circuited.
No oscillogram possible.
F5: Measurement of temperature with oil temperature sensor
and measurement of rpm
No oscillogram possible.
F6: Key "zero point calibration". Current or resistance must be
zero during the calibration (only activated when measure-
ment of current or resistance has been selected).
To achieve this, unclamp sensor from the vehicle or hold the
red and the black multi-clip together (short-circuited).
A "zero point calibration" can only be performed if the
measured values are in the following range:
Measurement of resistance:
Current-measuring pickup 1000 A:
Current-measuring pickup 20 A:
Current-measuring shunt 500 A:

Left pulse duty factor display reacts quickly (oscillating
display when lambda control intact). The middle display
indicates a highly average pulse duty factor (with cross bar)
for the adjustment (e.g.: of the KE 3.1 Jetronic). This
averaged pulse duty factor is printed out with the record
printer.
