Plug-in sockets 2 and 9: Adapter 1 687 023 147 for reference
mark generator (the adapter is a special accessory and must be
ordered separately). Use to measure the ignition time/ignition
advance of vehicles without ignition mark or TDC mark and
without TDC sensor. The marker is connected to the reference
mark generator of the engine electronic system with appropriate
connecting cables or adapters and supplies a pulse which is
processed by the TDC sensor input of the MOT.
