Remarks:
- In all, you can enter at most 300 characters (independently of
the type width).
- The spaces at the end of the line text are not counted (for the
lines which are not full).
- Every empty line counts as a type.
- The maximal number of characters remaining, which can still be
entered, is indicated below on the right (in selection mode).
- Before and after entering the workshop address, an empty is
edited automatically.
Functions:
- Take over of the selected characters: the take over is carried
out by pressing the hardkey „Memorization" S.
- Clearing (erase, delete) of the entered characters: place the
cursor in the entry line behind the character to be cancelled and
press the hardkey „Memory reading" s. The character is
cancelled and disappears.
- Character insertion: place the cursor of the entry line at the
point where the new character must appear. In the selection
field, place the cursor in the selection area over the new
character to be inserted. Press the hardkey „Memoriza-
tion" S. The new character is then inserted.
- Text correction: the incorrect characters must be cancelled
and the new characters must be inserted.
- Cancellation of the whole text (delete, erase): activate the cursor
of the entry line, press the hardkey „Memory reading" s till the
indication of the characters at disposal indicates „300". Press
the hardkey „Return" O. The text is cancelled. Do not turn the
MOT off during this period (about 30 seconds). It is not possible
to call up other measurements during the storing period.
- Text memorization : press the hardkey „Return" O. The text is
memorized. Text or modification will be stored in the next
30 seconds. Do not turn the MOT off during this period). It is
not possible to call up other measurements during the storing
period.
Entry:
- Create original
- Use softkey F1 (in input mode) to select the line you wish to
write on. Enter any blanks at the beginning of the line (inden-
ting) by pressing softkey F4 (in input mode).
- Change over from input mode to selection mode with softkey
F5. Use softkeys F1 to F4 to select the characters to be
entered. Press hardkey „Memorization" S to store the selected
characters.
- When all lines have been completely entered, press the hardkey
„Return" O. The entered test is stored in the next 30 seconds.
Do not turn the MOT off during this time; no further measure-
ments can be called up during the storage time.

Scope of delivery

MOT 240:
Test unit with integrated LCD screen, operating elements and
sensor support.
MOT 250:
Basic unit with control and display unit plus test unit with sensor
support. Interconnecting cables (two) and line connecting cable
are included.
MOT 251:
Basic unit (installed in or on the top of the equipment trolley) with
control and display unit (can be turned) and test unit with sensor
support (integrated into drawer). Associated equipment trolley in
package 2.
Accessories included with MOT 240 / 250 / 251:
- Stroboscope
- Oil temperature sensor
- Battery connecting cable (B+/B-)
- Clamp-on pickup (1000 A)
- Primary connecting cable (terminal 1/terminal 15) for the
distributor (ROV)
- Trigger clamp-on pickup for ignition cable of first cylinder
- Multi-measuring cable for measurements of resistance, voltage
and injection
- Secondary connection cable and secondary connection plug
