Ignition oscilloscope

The ignition oscilloscope is selected from the „Engine test" or the
basic menu. Accordingly, the representation may differ slightly
from the picture.
Remarks:
A primary or secondary signal (over 4 kV) is required for triggering
in synch with the engine. If these signals are not present, pulse
shaper 1 687 224 827 must be used for triggering.
5.1.1 Single circuit ignition system with one ignition distributor
F1: Changeover of measuring mode between secondary
oscillogram (pick-off of measured values with clamp-on
pickup or secondary sensor) and primary oscillogram
(pick-off of measured values with green clip).
F2: Changeover between parade representation (the „parade"
corresponds to the representation of the complete ignition
curve) and individual representation of each cylinder.
F3: Call of subprogram: „Picture adjustment" to change the
X-deflection (time axis), the Y-amplification and the picture
position (picture displacement upward or downward).

Only activated when the individual picture representation is
selected:
F4: Call of subprogram: To set the pretrigger to displace the
picture or the start of the picture on the X-axis. See
Section 5.4.2.
F5/6: To select the individual cylinders according to firing order
for individual picture representation.
