Wipe the motor base with a slightly moist, soft cloth and then dry the base.
Remove possible food remains on the power cord.

Never use abrasive or aggressive detergents or cleaning solutions to clean the
motor base and the blender jug – they might scratch the surface.

Odour intensive foods like garlic, fish or some vegetable kinds like carrots might
leave odours or discolouration on the jug or the lid.
•
To remove these, clean the jug and the lid with the AUTO CLEAN function. Add
2 teaspoons of soda-bicarbonate and 125 ml (½ cup) of vinegar into the blender
jug and let the mixture blend for 1 minute. Take the blender jug from the base
and rub the inner side of the jug and the lid with the mixture and a soft dish
brush. Add 2 cups of warm water and let everything stand for 5 minutes. Replace
the blender jug on the appliance base, close the jug with the lid and press the
AUTO CLEAN button again. Carefully rinse the blender jug and the lid and let
both air-dry. Keep the lid off the blender jug so that air can circulate.
D RY M I L L I N G

Milling hard foods like spices, nuts, sugar, coffee or grains etc. might cause
scratches and tarnishing to the inside of the blender jug.
•
Some spices and herbs release aromatic oils that can discolour the blender jug
or leave odours.
•
Those are only cosmetic consequences of dry milling that are not covered by war-
ranty. They do not affect the performance of the blender in any way.
S T O R A G E
•
Store your Solis high-speed blender Extreme Power Blender Pro in an upright posi-
tion. The blender jug should be placed on or beside the motor base. Do not place
anything on the appliance. To allow air circulation, the lid should not be placed
on the blender jug.
