6.2. RK SERIES KNEE BRACE SINGLE STRAP SET
The RK Series Knee Brace Single Strap Set includes four numbered straps for both the left
and right side Knee Braces.
Remove the exisiting straps. Inspect the Buckles for any signs of damage or material
fatigue. If any damage is observed, contact an authorized Alpinestars dealer for advice.
1. Insert the non logo side of the new Straps
into the correct position on the inner
side of the frames following the numbers
as shown in fig 1 and close the strap by
folding it back on itself.
2. When completed the loop patch should sit
at or near the center of the strap.
3. While seated place the knee brace over the
knee ensuring the Knee Cup System (5) is
positioned centrally over the knee cap.
4. Close Strap 1 and tighten to a comfortable
snug fit.

6. Stand up and close Straps 3 and then 4
and tighten to a comfortable snug fit. With
your leg completely straight adjust the
Logo Pull Tabs (14). This should be done
one strap at a time to ensure the optimum
fit. The Single Strap System is designed so
that the Logo Pull Tabs (14) can overlap the
Loop Pull Tabs (15), meaning that the two
pull tabs can meet and overlap to ensure
a snug fit for smaller leg circumferences.
Check the fit by bending the knee. If the fit
is not as desired repeat Step 6.
Strap numbers 1 and 2 can be crossed and
tightened if desired.
