Remedy
Install the battery as described in this User Manual.
► Measure the battery voltage.
► If the battery voltage is insufficient: Charge or
replace the battery.
Have the main fuse replaced by a STIHL authorized
dealer.
► Check whether the negative cable is correctly con‐
nected to the battery and the chassis.
► If the negative cable is not correctly connected:
Connect the negative cable.
Have the starter replaced by a STIHL authorized
dealer.
► Drain the fuel tank.
► Clean the fuel line and carburetor.
Contact a STIHL authorized dealer.
Clean or replace the air filter as described in the
User Manual for the engine.
Clean or replace the spark plug as described in the
User Manual for the engine.
Adapt the cutting height and driving speed to the
mowing conditions.
Add or change the engine oil as described in the
User Manual for the engine.
Clean the ride-on mower.
Contact a STIHL authorized dealer.
Sit down on the driver's seat or change the seat posi‐
tion.
