6 Assembling the ride-on mower
► Press the retaining plate (1) forward and hold
it.
► Fold the V-belt cover (2) upward.
► Guide the retaining plate (1) to the rear and
attach it to the V-belt cover at both retaining
tabs (3).
► Use screw (4) to screw the retaining plate
tight.
► Attach the discharge chute,
6.4.2 Removing the mowing deck
► Place the ride-on mower on a level surface.
► Turn the steering wheel all the way in one
direction.
► Shut off the engine,
► Engage the parking brake,
► Remove the ignition key and store it securely.
► Select the lowest cutting height,
► Detach the grass catcher box,
► Detach the discharge chute,
► Carefully set down the mowing deck.
Removing the V-belt cover
► Undo the screw (1) behind the right front
wheel until it turns freely.
► Press the retaining plate (2) forward and hold
it.

► Fold the V-belt cover (3) downward.
Slackening the V-belt
► Pull the tension spring (1) forward.
► Detach the tension spring (1) from the retain‐
ing latch (2) and set it aside.
The V-belt tension lever is secured in the front
position.
Detaching the mowing deck at the rear
► Pull out the cotter pin (1) upward.
► Lift and hold the mowing deck.
► Press the mounting (2) outward on one side
and guide the retaining pin (3) out of the
mounting (2).
► Press the mounting (2) outward on the other
side and guide the retaining pin (3) out of the
mounting.
► Carefully set down the mowing deck.
Detaching the V-belt
► Press the retaining plate (1) forward and hold
it.
► Pull the V-belt (2) forward and detach it.
