* The connecting cord is not firmly plugged in to
the jacks, or it is attached to the wrong jacks.
© The jacks or plugs are dirty.
* The input selector button is not appropriate for
the component playing.
* Other components are not being operated
correctly,
* The connecting cord or speaker cord is loose.
* The balance adjustment is incorrect.
© Incorrect operation of the cassette deck.
* Check the connections.

* There are no batteries in the remote control unit.

* The battery compartment cover is not perfectly
closed.
* The remote control cord is not connected.
* A fluorescent light is shining on the remote
sensor window.
* Load the remote control unit with batteries

© Operate the remote contro! unit within a range

* Press the remote control RESET button.
