PANEL FACILITIES (FRONT PANEL FACILITIES)
@ AUDIO INPUT selector buttons
TAPE 1/DAT:
Press to listen to the device connected to the TAPE 1/DAT input.
TAPE 2 MONITOR:
Press to listen to playback sound
of cassette deck connected to
TAPE 2 input.
CD:
Press to listen to compact discs played on CD player connected to the
CD input.
TUNER:
Press to listen to FM or AM broadcasts from tuner connected to TUNER
input.
PHONO:
Press to listen to records played on turntable connected to the PHONO
input.
NOTE:
if the TAPE 2 MONITOR button is ON, sound will only be heard from
components connected to TAPE 2 jacks.
DELAY TIME button
* STADIUM, SIMULATED SURROUND:
Switched the surround delay time in seven steps.

Switches the surround delay time in four steps.

This does not operate when the surround mode is off or when STUDIO
or DOLBY 3 CH LOGIC is used.
CENTER MODE button
Selects the DOLBY PRO LOGIC SURROUND and DOLBY 3 CH LOGIC
CENTER MODE (OFF, NORMAL, WIDE, PHANTOM) setting. This can
only be performed when the DOLBY PRO LOGIC SURROUND or DOLBY
.3 CH LOGIC is ON.
@) TEST TONE button
This only operates when DOLBY PRO LOGIC SURROUND or DOLBY
3 CH LOGIC is used.
This switches the TEST TONE output ON/OFF to adjust the surround
balance.
In the ON position the TEST TONE passes from the front left > center
> front right > rear (L, R) (DOLBY PRO LOGIC) in that order, and can
be heard for approximately 2 seconds from each speaker.
. @ CENTER MONO button
This switches monaural (L + R} center speaker output on and off:
(This button cannot be used with DOLBY PRO LOGIC SURROUND and
DOLBY 3 CH LOGIC)
NOTE:
Toné control doesn't operate with center speaker output.

Touches du sélecteur d'entrée audio (AUDIO INPUT}
TAPE 1/DAT:
Appuyer sur cette touche pour écouter le dispositif connecté a l'entrée
TAPE 1/DAT.
TAPE 2 MONITOR:
Appuyer sur cette touche pour écouter le son de reproduction d'une
platine cassette connecté a l'entrée TAPE 2.
co:
Appuyer sur cette touche pour écouter un compact disc reproduit sur
un lecteur CD connecté a l'entrée CD.
TUNER:
Appuyer sur cette touche pour écouter des émissions FM ou AM d'un
tuner connecté a I'entrée TUNER.
PHONO:
Appuyer sur cette touche pour écouter un disque reproduit sur une table
de lecture connectée a l'entrée PHONO.
REMARQUE:
Sila touche TAPE 2 MONITOR est enclenchée (ON), seul fe son des
composants connectés aux prises TAPE 2 est entendu.
@® Touche de temps de retard (DELAY TIME)
* STADIUM, SIMULATED SURROUND:
Commute le temps de retard d'ambiance en sept étapes.

Cette touche n'est pas opérante lorsque le mode d'ambiance est
désactivé ou lorsque le réglage STUDIO ou DOLBY 3 CH LOGIC est
utilisé.
@ Touche de mode central (CENTER MODE)
Sélectionne le réglage (DESACTIVE, NORMAL, WIDE, PHANTOM) du
mode central DOLBY PRO LOGIC SURROUND et DOLBY 3 CH LOGIC,
Cette touche
n'est opérante
que lorsque
DOLBY
PRO
LOGIC
SURROUND ou DOLBY 3 CH LOGIC est activé (ON).
@ Touche de tonalité d'essai (TEST TONE)
Elle n'est opérante que lorsque DOLBY PRO LOGIC SURROUND
ou -
DOLBY 3 CH LOGIC est utilisé.
Elle active/désactive la sortie de tonalité d'essai pour régler I'équilibre
d'ambiance.
Dans la position ON, Ia tonalité d'essai passe d'avant gauche ~ centre
> avant droit — arriére (G, D) (DOLBY PRO LOGIC) dans cet ordre et
elle peut étre entendue pendant approximativement 2 secondes par
chaque enceinte.
@ Touche CENTER MONO
Elle active et désactive la sortie enceinte central (G + D) monaurale.
{Cette touche ne peut pas étre utilisée avec DOLBY PRO LOGIC
SURROUND et DOLBY 3 CH LOGIC).
REMARQUE:
La commande de tonalité ne fonctionne pas avec fa sortie de enceinte
central.
