PANEL FACILITIES (FRONT PANEL FACILITIES)
MUTING button/indicator
Press to stop sound temporarily, and the indicator flashes. Press again
to return to previous volume level.
@) MASTER VOLUME control knob
Use this adjust volume level.
Front and rear volume levels change at the same time.
@® SPEAKERS buttons/indicators
ON/OFF switches for the speaker systems. An indicator lights when
any of these buttons is set to ON.
FRONT:
Switches and indicates for the front speaker systems.
REAR:
Switches and indicates for the rear speaker systems.
CENTER:
Switches and indicates for the front center channel speaker system.
@ PHONES jack
Connect the plug on your headphones to this jack, To listen to a program
through the headphones, set all SPEAKERS buttons to the OFF position.
@ VIDEO MONO button
if you set this button to ON, the sound from a video source connected
to the VIDEO INPUT jack on the front panel @ will be monaural. (VIDEO
MONO on the display will light). If you connect a component with a
monaural output to the L or R input jack, the sound will be the same
from both left and right speakers when this button is set to ON.
@ VIDEO SELECT button

Press this to switch VIDEO OUT (TO MONITOR TV) and VCR OUT in
the following sequence: (Audio doesn't change) -
The recording selector has priority for VCR 1 video recording.

@®) VCR 1 REC SEL button/indicator
Press this button to change the source from which the VCR 1 will record
in the following order.

OFF «
The display indicator ( @& } lights to show this.
OFF: The output signal is the same as the monitor output.
@ VIDEO INPUT selectcr buttons
VCR 1:
Press this button when playing back a tape in the video cassette recorder
connected to the VCR 1 jacks.
VCR 2:
Press this button when playing back a tape in the video cassette recorder
connected to the VCR 2 jacks.
VDP/CDV:
Press to watch a program from a video disc player, CD CDV LD player
connected to the VDP/CDV jacks.
TV:
Press to watch TV programs {reception with a TV tuner connected to
the TV jacks).
VIDEO:
Press this when playing from equipment {video camera etc.) connected
to VIDEO INPUT jack on the front panel.

@ Touche/indicateur de sourdine (MUTING)
Appuyer
sur cette touche
pour couper

Vindicateur clignote. Appuyer de nouveau sur cette touche pour revenir
au niveau de volume précédent.
@ Bouton de commande de volume principal
(MASTER VOLUME)
L'utiliser pour régler le niveau du volume.
Les niveaux du volume avant et arriére changent en méme temps.
@® Touches/indicateurs d'enceintes (SPEAKERS)
{nterrupteurs pour les systémes d'enceintes. Un indicateur s'allume
lorsque l'un de ces touches est enclenché.
FRONT:
Activation et indication des systémes d'enceintes avant.
REAR:
Activation et indication des systémes d'enceintes arriére.
CENTER:
Activation et indication du systéme d'enceinte canal centrale avant.
(3 Prise de casque (PHONES)
Brancher la fiche d'un casque dans cette prise. Pour écouter un
programme par le.casque, régler tous les interrupteurs SPEAKERS sur
la position relachée (OFF).
@ Touche VIDEO MONO
Si cette touche est enclenchée (ON), !e son provenant d'une source
vidéo connectée aux prises VIDEO INPUT @ du panneau avant sera
monaural. (VIDEO MONO s'allume sur I'affichage). Si un composant
ayant une sortie monaurale est connecté a la prise d'entrée L ou R, le
son sorti par les enceintes gauche et droit sera le méme lorsque cette
touche est enclenchée (ON).
@® Touche de sélection vidéo (VIDEO SELECT)
Appuyer sur cette touche pour commuter la sortie vidéo (VIDEO OUT)
[vers TV de contréle (TO MONITOR TV}] et la sortie magnétoscope (VCR
OUT) selon la séquence suivante: (L'audio ne change pas).
Le sélecteur d'enregistrement a la priorité pour un enregistrement vidéo
magnétoscope (VCR) 1.

Désactivé: Le signal de sortie est le méme que 1a sortie de contréle.
@ Touches du sélecteur d'entrée vidéo (VIDEO INPUT)
VCR 1:
Appuyer sur cette touche pour reproduire la bande se trouvant dans
le magnétoscope connecté aux prises VCR 1.
VCR 2:
Appuyer sur cette touche pour reproduire la bande se trouvant dans
le magnétoscope connecté aux prises VCR 2.
VDP/CDV:
Appuyer sur cette touche pour regarder un programme d'un lecteur de
vidéo disc, d'un lecteur CD CDV LD connecté aux prises VDP/CDV.
TV:
Appuyer sur cette touche pour regarder des émissions de télévision
(réception avec un tuner TV connecté aux prises TV).
VIDEO:
Appuyer sur cette touche lors de fa reproduction d'un équipement
(caméra vidéo, etc.) connecté a la prise VIDEO INPUT du panneau avant.
