HOW TO USE THE LEARN FUNCTION
NOTE:
The
TRANSMIT/LEARN
indicator flashes
when
the memory
is
overloaded.
In this case the last Learn entry will not be correctly
recorded, Any entries previous to this will remain in the memory but
do not try and enter any more commands.
The remote control unit can
be used to give any command except the last ane.
© /f the Learn operation is unsuccessful, try again from a different angle
or position, with a different distance between the two remote control
units.
* When using the Learn function, it is more convenient to have the
settings of the other remote control unit and the programmable remote
control unit the same
(for example

»»,
Hm etc).
When
programming from a remote contral unit with different command
settings, record onto an accessory template, and employ this when
operating.
* When returning to the original condition (Pioneer unified remote
control code} refer to "How to return to the original condition" on
page 70.
Learn Function Questions and Answers
Q1:
There are 2 REC buttons on my VCR remote control unit. How
should | use the Learn function if | have to press both buttons to
record?
A1:
Press one button on the programmable remote control unit (for
example the i button), and the TRANSMIT/LEARN indicator will
light. Then press both the VCR buttons at the same time and
operate the Learn function. Another way to operate the Learn
function is to press both the REC buttons at the same time and
when the TRANSMIT/LEARN indicator lights, press both the VCR
remote control buttons at the same time.
Q2; How should | use the Learn function if | have to press the PLAY
and the REC buttons on my remote control unit at the same time?
A2:
Operate in the same way as A1.
In the above way, if you have to press two buttons at the same time
to perform an operation, carry out the same
procedure
when
programming.

REMARQUE:
L'indicateur
TRANSMIT/LEARN

© Sil'opération de transfert n'est pas réussie, essayer de l'effectuer de
nouveau depuis un angle ou une position différent, en modifiant la

Q1: il y a deux touches d'enregistrement

Appuyer sur une touche de I'unité de télécommande programma-
ble (la touche » , par exemple} et I'indicateur TRANSMIT/LEARN
s'allume. Puis appuyer en méme temps sur les deux touches de
la télécommande du magnétoscope et utiliser la fonction de trans-
fert. Une autre maniére d'exécuter la fonction de transfert est
d'appuyer en méme temps sur les deux touches REC et, lorsque

temps sur les deux touches de la télécommande du magné-
toscope.
