TO SEARCH FOR A PARTICULAR TIME/
FRAME
SEARCHING OF LD DISC
Frame Number Search (CAV discs only)
~- To search by designating the frame number
Any desired frame can be searched for by specifying its frame
'number.
1.
Press CHP/TIME during playback.
When the display shows chapter NO., press this button
again.
"FRAME 0" is displayed.
2.
Entertherequired frame number with the digit buttons
(0 - 9).
3.
Press >/I or PLAY p>.
Time Number Search (CLV disc only)
~ Example: To search for the scene located at 12
min. 34 sec
1.
Press CHP/TIME during playback.
When the display shows chapter No., press this button
again.
2. Enter
[ 1 ] ,
[ 2 ] , [3] and [4] with the digit buttons.
3.
Press >/Il or PLAY &.
CAUTION:
lf a disc does not contain information in seconds, specify the
time number only in the minutes.
SEARCHING OF CD DISC .
Track Time Search (CD/CDV discs only) -
search for a time on a specified track
1. Press CHP/TIME.
2.
Press << or >>! so that the desired track number
appears in the front panel display window.
3.
Enter
the track
time
(elapsed
time
from
the
beginning
of the specified track) with the digit
buttons (0 - 9).
4.
Press >/ttor PLAY >.
ABS Time Search (CD discs only) - To search
for a point by designating the elapsed time from
the beginning of the disc
1. Press CHP/TIME, so that "Ab" appears in the front
panel display window.
(On the monitor
screen,
"ABS" appears.)
2.
Enter the elapsed time from the beginning of the
disc with the digit buttons (0 - 9).
3.
Press >/ii or PLAY ».
Playback starts from the
specified elapsed time.

Recherche
de numéro
d'image
(discs CAV
seulement) - Pour rechercher en spécifiant le numéro
d'image
Toute image donnée peut étre recherchée en spécifiant son
numéro d''image.
1. Appuyer sur la touche CHP/TIME pendant la lecture.
Quand l'affichage indique le n° de chapitre, presser a
nouveau cette touche.
"FRAME 0" est affiché.
2.
Entrer le numéro d''image voulu avec les touches
numériques (0 - 9).
3.
Presser >/I1 ou PLAY em.
Recherche de durée (discs CLV seulement) -
Exemple: Pour rechercher la scéne située a la durée
12 mn 34s
1. Appuyer sur la touche CHP/TIME pendant la lecture.

nouveau cette touche.

2. Entrer (1, [2], [3] et (4) avec les touches numériques.

Presser >/Il ou PLAY >.
ATTENTION:
Si le codage en temps du disque ne comprend
pas les
secondes, indiquer le temps en minutes seulement.
RECHERCHE SUR UN CD
Recherche de durée de piste (discs CD/CDV
seulement)
- Pour rechercher une durée sur une
piste spécifiée
Presser CHP/TIME.
Presser |<< ou >! pour que le numéro de piste voulu
apparaisse dans Ia fenétre d'affichage du panneau
avant.

Entrer la durée de piste (durée écoulée depuis le
début de la ae spécifiée) avec les touches
' numériques (0 -

Presser >/ll ou PLAY >.

Recherche de durée ABS (CD seulement) - Pour
rechercher un point en spécifiant la durée écoulée depuis
le début du disc
1. Presser CHP/TIME pour que "Ab" apparaisse dans la
fenétre d'affichage du panneau avant. (Sur I'écran du
moniteur, "ABS" apparaisse.)
2.
Entrer la durée écoulée oar le début du disc avec
les touches numériques (0 - 9).
3.
Presser >/ltou PLAY me. La lecture commence a partir
de la durée écoulée spécifiée.

When PLAY > on the remote control unit is pressed to start
search operation:
Astill frame is displayed (CAV). To start normal playback, press PLAY
> again.
Notes on searching for a chapter/track:

/fyou make a mistake in pressing the digit buttons, press CLEAR
and press the correct digit buttons.

The +10 button does not function.
To exit search mode:
Press CLEAR. Normal playback starts.

Lorsqu'on appuie sur la touche PLAY > dela télécommande pour
lancer l'opération de recherche:
Une image fixe s'affiche (CAV). Pour lancer la lecture normale,
appuyer a nouveau sur la touche PLAY >.
Remarques sur la recherche d'un chapitre/plage:

Si vous faites une erreur d'entrée, presser CLEAR et presser les
touches numériques correctes.

La touche +10 ne fonctionne pas.
Pour quitter la mode de recherche:
Appuyer sur la touche CLEAR. La lecture normale reprend.
