Normally Clear Scan is performed. To perform Low Scan and
High Scan, press DISP on the remote control unit to display
the screen and then press SCAN
button. For about two
seconds after the button is pressed, Low Scan is performed,
after that, the unit enters High Scan.
Clear Scan mode: The image may not fluctuate in this mode.
Low Scan mode: Scan speed becomes about 10x the normal
playback speed.
High Scan mode: Scan speed becomes about 30x the normal
playback speed.
e With CDs or audio part of CDVs, Clear Scan mode cannot
be carried out.
e With video part of CDV, High Scan mode cannot be carried
out.
@ When an NTSC system LD is played back with the PAL
setting of the SYSTEM button, the player enters Low Scan
mode even though the Clear Scan operation is performed.

In Clear Scan mode, when digital sound is selected with digital
audio discs, sound is heard at low volume level. In karaoke mode,
sound is muted.
e@ With CDs or audio part of CDVs, sound is heard at low volume
while scanning.

Others: Sound is muted.

Appuyer sur une de ces touches a plusieurs reprises ou la tenir
enfoncée; on saute ainsi les chapitres (pistes) un a un.

En principe, Clear Scan est réalisé. Pour obtenir Low Scan et
High Scan, appuyez sur la touche DISP de la télécommande
de maniére a afficher une page écran puis appuyez sur la
touche SCAN. Dans les deux secondes environ qui suivent
I'action sur cette touche, Low Scan est réalisé puis le lecteur
effectue High Scan.
oe de balayage net: L'image peut ne pas fluctuer dans ce
mode.
Mode de balayage lent: La vitesse de balayage devient
environ x10
la vitesse de lecture normale.

x90 la vitesse de lecture normale.
e Clear Scan ne peut étre réalisé avec les CD ou la partie
audio des CDV.
e@ Avec la partie vidéo d'un CDV, le mode de balayage rapide
ne peut pas étre effectué.
e Lorsqu'on lit un LD de standard NTSC avec la touche
SYSTEM
en position PAL, le lecteur entre en mode
d'exploration a vitesse lente méme sur si on effectue une
opération de balayage en clair.

Enmode de balayage net, quand le son numérique est sélectionné
avec les discs audio numérique, le son s'entend a faible niveau de
volume.
En mode karaoke, le son est interrompu.
e@ Avec les CD ou la partie audio de CDV, le son s'entend a faible
niveau de volume pendant le balayage.

Autres: Le son est annulé.
