15 Adjusting the shock absorbers
You can adjust the spring tension at the upper end of the shock absorber
by turning the knurled wheel (A).
The further you turn the knurled wheel down, the harder the suspension
and the shorter the spring travel. On very uneven tracks, this can cause
the wheel to lose contact with the ground.
The further you turn the knurled wheel up, the softer the suspension. On
very uneven tracks, this can cause the suspension to sag or the chassis
to touch down.
The shock absorbers can be mounted in different positions on the shock
absorber bridge (B) and the lower suspension arm (C). The manufacturer
has pre-configured the optimal position, so you should not change it.
Always ensure that the shock absorbers on each axle are level
(i.e. on the left and right wheels of the front or rear axles);
otherwise, the vehicle may not respond correctly.
16 Pairing function
To ensure that the 2.4 GHz remote control can transmit a signal without interference, the remote control and receiver
must have the same digital code. The digital encoding (connection between the remote control and receiver) can be
configured using the pairing function (also called "pairing").
This process takes place automatically on this vehicle when the transmitter and speed controller/receiver are switched
on; the green "TX" LED on the transmitter lights up permanently when the wireless connection is correct.
When switching on multiple identical vehicles one after the other, avoid switching on the transmitters and
vehicles at the same time. Otherwise, the transmitter will connect to the first receiver found, which will not
necessarily be the one in the vehicle you are using.
