To switch directly from forward to reverse, first push the throttle lever away from the handle and then move it to
the neutral position (the motor brake will be engaged if the vehicle moves forward during this phase). Pushing the
throttle lever away from the handle a second time causes the vehicle to travel in reverse.
After forward travel, the vehicle will only travel in reverse when you push the throttle lever away from the
handle a second time. The drive reversal is only possible via the brake function; in addition, this protects
the drive mechanism from overload due to an immediate changeover from forward to reverse.
When the vehicle is stationary, you can naturally drive directly from a standing position backwards by pushing the
throttle lever away from the handle.
The "TH.RATE" knob is used to set the maximum driving speed:
– Turn the knob to the left (counter-clockwise): Decrease the maximum driving speed (e.g. for beginners or to
get used to the vehicle responses)
– Turn the knob to the right (clockwise): Increase the maximum driving speed
If the vehicle tends to pull to the left or right while driving, even though the steering wheel is in the middle/neutral
position, set the steering trim accordingly with the "ST.TRIM" knob on the transmitter.
14.8 Stopping the vehicle
To stop the vehicle, proceed as follows:
Release the transmitter throttle lever for it to return to the neutral position and let the vehicle coast to a stop or
use the brake function.
When the vehicle is stationary, switch off the speed controller by pressing the on/off button for approx. 1 second
until the green LED on the speed controller goes off.
Caution!
Never touch the wheels or the drive, and do not move the throttle lever on the transmitter! Do not hold the
vehicle by the wheels.
The motor, speed controller and drive battery become very hot during use! Do not touch these parts im-
mediately after use – burn hazard!
Disconnect the drive battery from the speed controller. Remove the plug completely.
Then turn off the transmitter.
